The H0 B0 H0V electrical authorization training is intended for professionals who perform non-electrical operations in environments with electrical risk, for example, TGBT electrical premises, private/public HTA substations, near outdoor electrical installations (overhead lines…).
At the end of the training, participants will be able to operate in the vicinity of electrical installations while respecting the safety prescriptions recommended by the NFC 18-510 standard, notably: analyze and identify electrical risks in a work situation, respect environmental zones and safety distances, master access procedures to work zones, react in case of an electrical accident.
H0b0 Training Objectives
- Safely perform non-electrical operations in environments with electrical risk. At the end of the training, participants will be able to perform non-electrical work near bare live parts and independently access an electrical-only access room while respecting the prevention measures recommended by the NFC-18-510 standard.

FAQ Electrical Authorizations B0 H0 H0v
Do I Need to Renew My H0 B0 Electrical Authorization?
In accordance with the prescriptions of the NFC 18-510 standard, the validity period of the authorization is 3 years, except for specific cases (change of position or hierarchical dependence, prolonged absence, etc…). The refresher course lasts 7 hours. You can find all the details on the INRS website.
Can H0 B0 Training be Financed by the Personal Training Account?
No, this is no longer the case since December 31, 2021, when France Compétences deactivated it from the RS (Specific Directory), as indicated on their website. It is therefore no longer covered by the CPF.
I Am H0 B0 Authorized, Can I Perform Minor Electrical Maintenance Operations?
No. The H0B0 H0V authorized Performer and/or Site Manager can only perform non-electrical work. They are therefore not authorized to perform replacement operations (light bulb, fuse, electrical equipment, etc.), connection, or rearming. A BS and/or BE Manoeuvre authorization will be required, depending on the operations to be performed.
Does H0 B0 Authorization Cover the HTB Pass for Working on RTE and Enedis Installations?
No. If you need the HTB pass to work on high voltage B installations (> 50 kV) operated by EDF and its subsidiaries, you will need to take specific training with a certified trainer to issue this training.
