We offer all levels of electrical authorizations, for electricians and non-electricians, at our Paris training center, at your premises in Île-de-France or in a Blended Learning format. All our training courses consist of a theoretical part and a practical part.
H0 B0 H0v Authorizations
Objective: To carry out non-electrical operations in an electrical environment.
For whom? Any professional who needs to carry out work not related to electrical installations, in an electrical risk environment
Training duration: 7 hours for Initial training and Refresher training
BS BE Manoeuvre Authorizations
Objective: To safely carry out elementary replacement/connection interventions and simple maneuvers.
For whom? Non-electrician personnel performing “elementary” electrical operations and maneuvers.
Training duration: 14 hours for Initial – 11 hours for Refresher
B1 B1v B2 B2v BR BC BE Authorizations
Objective: To safely direct or carry out interventions, work, lockouts and tests on Low Voltage installations.
For whom? Electrician personnel performing work, maintenance, lockouts and tests in LV.
Training duration: 21 hours for Initial – 11 hours for Refresher
BR Authorization
Objective: To safely carry out troubleshooting interventions, replacement of electrical equipment and connection with voltage present.
For whom? Electrician personnel performing maintenance operations and connections on LV installations.
Training duration: 21 hours for Initial – 11 hours for Refresher
H1v H2v HC Authorizations
Objective: To safely direct (work supervisor) or carry out (executor) interventions, work and lockouts on High Voltage A (<50kV) installations.
For whom? Electrician personnel performing work, maintenance and lockouts in HTA.
Training duration: 28 hours for Initial – 14 hours for Refresher – 7 hours for HTA supplement

Why Follow Electrical Authorization Training?
Any employee who is exposed to electrical risks as part of their work, whether electrician or non-electrician, must be authorized by their employer at a level corresponding to the operations they perform and the voltage domain to which they are exposed. Electrical authorization is notably necessary for:
Performing all operations, electrical or non-electrical, on an electrical installation or in its vicinity
Unsupervised access to premises and restricted access areas for electricians
Supervising operations on electrical installations or in their vicinity
To be authorized by their employer in accordance with standard NFC 18-510, all employees must first have followed specific preparatory training for the targeted authorization symbols, in order to master the measures for preventing electrical risk. The training has a validity period of 3 years and must be renewed via a refresher course.

FAQ – Electrical Authorization Training Paris
How Do Electrical Authorization Training Courses Take Place at your Paris Center?
All our electrical authorization preparation training courses, lasting from 1 to 3 days depending on the levels, are divided into 3 parts: theoretical training, practical training and theoretical and practical evaluation.
The theoretical training will be more or less technical depending on whether you are taking training for electricians or non-electricians. The main topics covered will include:
Regulations according to standard NF C18-510 and the Labor Code
Principles of electrical authorization: symbols, limits and formalization
Dangers of electricity (direct and indirect contact, short circuit, etc.) and effects on the human body (electrocution, electric shock, burns, etc.)
Environmental zones and safety distances to be observed for safe work near live bare parts
Risk assessment and implementation of general protection principles
Personal protective equipment and collective protective equipment
Conduct to adopt in case of electrical accident or fire of electrical origin
Practical training is provided on the electrical installations of our center. It will be adapted to the targeted authorization levels, for example:
Risk analysis within an electrical environment
Re-engaging a circuit breaker
De-energizing or locking out an installation
Installing an insulating mat
Performing an elementary intervention: changing a socket, connecting equipment to a waiting network, etc…
The training concludes with a multiple-choice questionnaire to validate theoretical knowledge and practical scenarios to validate know-how.
Are your Electrical Authorization Training Courses in Île-de-France Referenced by Pôle Emploi?
Yes, all our training courses are referenced on Dokelio and can therefore be covered by Pôle Emploi.
If you are a job seeker and wish to obtain a new electrical authorization to improve your employability / acquire skills, here is the procedure to follow:
Make an appointment with your advisor to present your professional project and validate with them the interest of obtaining an electrical authorization. Pôle Emploi does not automatically finance training, it is your Employment advisor who will determine its interest in the context of your return to employment.
Contact us with your Pôle Emploi registration number and your registration department. We can discuss together to advise you on the authorization level to obtain if you are unclear and determine the training dates that suit you.
We will then send the training quote via the Pôle Emploi platform (Kaïros). At that time, we will keep you informed: you will need to log in to your Pôle Emploi Space to validate the request.
Once these steps are completed, your advisor will have to validate the training quote on their side. Depending on the advisors, this can be more or less quick, we have absolutely no control at this level. Do not hesitate to follow up with them after a few days!
