FAQ Electrical Authorizations BE Verification BE Measurement

What is the Validity Period of the BE Verification BE Measurement Electrical Authorization?

According to standard NF C18-510, it is advisable to attend a 1.5-day refresher training every three years to maintain your BE Test authorization.

I Am BE Test Authorized, is there any Benefit in Taking the BE Verification BE Measurement Training?

No. The BE Test electrical authorization covers these authorizations: you are already able to perform measurements and verifications.

Is it Possible to Take this Training 100% Remotely?

No. The practical training and evaluation for BE Verification BE Measurement training must be carried out in person with a trainer on electrical installations. The theoretical part can be done via E-Learning to shorten the overall duration of the in-person training.

Is the BE Verification BE Measurement Training Eligible for CPF Funding?

No, this has not been the case since December 31, 2021, when France Compétences deactivated it from the RS (Répertoire Spécifique). You can find more information here.

Do I Need an Electrical Diploma to Participate in this Training?

No, this training does not necessarily require a diploma. However, it does require a good basic understanding of electricity and mastery of the measurement tools and verification procedures used in your professional activity.

Can I Lock out an Electrical Installation with the BE Measurement BE Verification Authorization?

No. You can de-energize for your own use, but you cannot perform a lockout procedure that allows third parties to work on the installations. The BC authorization level is required in this case.
