FAQ – BS Certification Training
What PPE is Required for BS Certification?
Below you will find a list of recommended personal protective equipment for obtaining BS electrical certification. However, it should be noted that it is not possible to define an exhaustive list without a precise understanding of the types of installations and operations performed. For example, if BS certified personnel only work on changing lamps, there will be no need for a face shield, which is intended to protect against fuses with a risk of bursting.
insulated tools,
insulating mat or insulating shoes,
insulating gloves,
face shield (optional),
voltage absence tester,
marking (optional)
What Materials and Installations are Necessary to Conduct BS Certification Training on our Premises?
If you wish for one of our trainers to come to your premises (in-company training) to train your teams for BS certification, you will need to provide:
For theoretical training:
A room with tables and chairs to accommodate trainees and the trainer
A white wall for projection (all our trainers are equipped with projectors) or a TV with an HDMI connection
For practical training (if you wish for it to be conducted on your installations):
Installation with: fuse to replace and/or lighting accessory to replace and/or socket or switch to replace and/or circuit breaker to reset and/or device to connect to a protected circuit
If it’s difficult to provide these installations on the day of the training, don’t panic! Our trainers are equipped with educational technical platforms to conduct the practical part of the BS certification training.
