The BR PV Photovoltaic Application Field electrical authorization training is intended for professional electricians who ensure the creation and maintenance of Low Voltage photovoltaic installations.
At the end of the BR Photovoltaic Electrical Authorization training, participants will master the safety requirements of the NFC 18-510 standard to operate on a complete photovoltaic chain, including:
- Perform electrical work on PV installations
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting operations on PV installations
- Perform tests, measurements, and verifications on a photovoltaic chain
- Lock out a PV installation
Objectives of the BR PV Electrical Authorization Training
- Perform work, interventions, tests, and lockouts on LV photovoltaic installations in compliance with the prevention measures of standard NF C18-510
- Enable the “employer to issue a BR PV Photovoltaic Application Field electrical authorization certificate.”

Audience & Prerequisites
- All professional electricians who need to operate on LV photovoltaic installations for commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- The BR PV electrical authorization training requires electrical skills acquired through a diploma, training, or proven professional experience.
- For participants in a “Photovoltaic Complementary” training, an up-to-date BR training certificate is required.

- In Blended Learning format: a training that combines an E-Learning part and a 7-hour practical in-person training. A flexible format to avoid demobilizing your teams.

BR PV Electrical Authorization Practical Training
- Analyze risks before performing work, interventions, and lockouts on a photovoltaic chain

FAQ BR PV Electrical Authorization Training
Does BR PV Electrical Authorization Allow Working on Stationary Batteries?
Any intervention on stationary batteries powered by PV installations is excluded from the scope of BR PV electrical authorization. Authorization for live work (TST) on stationary accumulator batteries with indices B1T and/or B2T and/or B1N and/or B2N will be necessary.
Is it Possible to Supervise a Team with BR PV Electrical Authorization?
This authorization allows you to supervise one (and only one) BP authorized Elementary Intervention Officer.
What is the Validity Period of BR PV Electrical Authorization?
In accordance with the requirements of standard NFC 18-510, the authorization is valid for 3 years. A refresher training must be completed before this deadline. The duration of the refresher training is 7 hours.
I Want to Organize an In-Company BR PV Training, What Equipment is Needed?
You must have a room capable of accommodating the trainees and the trainer. If you have a photovoltaic installation available, the practical training can be carried out on it, or we can provide a mobile technical platform depending on the geographical area of the training (consult us).
